A woman has been taken to hospital with head injuries after a large fight outside a pub last night.
The incident took place outside the Good Neighbours pub in Aikman Avenue, New Parks, at 9pm yesterday.
Over 10 police cars and a van were deployed to the scene. However by the time officers arrived, the people believed to be involved had left the area.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “Police received a call at 9pm yesterday to a report of a group of people fighting outside a premises in Aikman Avenue, Leicester.”
“The East Midlands Ambulance Service were called after a woman was found with an injury to her head. She was taken to hospital.”
“No weapons are believed to have been used during the incident.”
