A young child has been taken to hospital by air ambulance after a collision with an electric scooter.
The incident happened on Elston Fields on the Saffron Lane estate at around 6.15pm yesterday.
The rider of the scooter did not stop, leaving the 6-year-old injured at the park.
The child was taken to the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham to be treated. The injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
The rider of the scooter was later identified and arrested. He has been interviewed in relation to the incident.
