A pushchair with a one-year-old baby inside was hit by a car in Leicester this afternoon.
The incident happened at around 2.30pm on Aikman Avenue in New Parks.
Emergency services were called to the scene including Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service.
A spokesperson for Leicestershire Police said: “The incident happened near the central reservation in the road.”
“A one-year-old child, who was inside the pushchair, is not believed to have suffered serious injuries, but has been taken to hospital as a precaution.”
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident yet.
Police are continuing their enquires into the incident.
