With high levels of testing continuing across the county, a further 45 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Leicester and Leicestershire.
From this increase, 38 cases were in Leicester with the remaining 7 in the wider county.
Four new cases were confirmed in Charnwood, two in Melton and one in Harborough. No new cases were reported in Oadby & Wigston, Hinckley, Blaby and North West Leicestershire.
The cumulative total as at Monday 10 August were:
Leicester – 5,230 total cases. Rate per 100,000 population: 1,477
Oadby and Wigston – 505 total cases. Rate per 100,000 population: 886
Charnwood – 862 total cases. Rate per 100,000 population: 464
Blaby – 525 total cases. Rate per 100,000 population: 517
Harborough – 404 total cases. Rate per 100,000 population: 431
Melton – 197 total cases. Rate per 100,000 population: 385
Hinckley and Bosworth – 570 total cases. Rate per 100,000 population: 504
North West Leicestershire – 338 total cases. Rate per 100,000 population: 324
